Relationships

relationshipsMissions is about relationships. Everything we do is about building relationships with the intent to point our new friends towards the most important relationship they can have: a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Our most intentional tool is our English as a second language (ESL) intensive course. Using curriculum developed by “Practically Speaking English”, we build relationships with our students while meeting their felt need to learn the English language. As we get to know our students, they begin to get curious about why we would pay to come to their country and provide them with a high-quality conversational English course at no cost to them. This curiosity provides the teachers with the opportunity to share the gospel and the hope that we have in Jesus. The students are receptive to this approach, because the teachers have modeled the love of Christ throughout the course. God has been using this course and others like it to bring new believers to Himself all over the world.

Another way we build relationships is by providing pastoral training and leadership development. As well as providing training and leadership development to the local church, we offer business development courses to the local business men and women. Through this training we are building relationships and modeling Christ-centered integrity in the market place with the intent to extend the Kingdom through sharing the gospel of Christ to current and future business leaders of Jinotega, Matagalpa, and Esteli.
